Vic’s Next Chapter: Beloved News4JAX anchor, reporter Vic Micolucci is making a career change

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – We have some bittersweet news to share.

After more than a decade of outstanding service to Channel 4, News4JAX anchor, reporter and I-TEAM investigator Vic Micolucci will soon embark on a new chapter in his career.

He has been offered an opportunity as the Communications and Community Engagement Executive with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. In his new role, Vic will help build bonds between the community and JSO and will serve as an advisor to the sheriff.

We’re so proud of Vic’s achievements, including several prestigious awards, and of the incredible connections he’s built in our community.

Vic posted a message in his own words on his Instagram page and asked that we share it with you:

We know you will join us in wishing Vic all the best in his next chapter. We’ll be celebrating Vic more throughout his last week at the station, but we wanted to give you all a chance to take part in his sendoff. His last day at News4JAX is April 3.
