Showers ending for Thursday, Storms return Friday
Clearing skies and a sliver of moon is showing over the River City. A few showers continue for Clay and St. Johns counties. Clearing skies and a quiet night on tap before showers and storms return Friday. The first round will push through SE GA after the morning rush with the second round developing during the afternoon hours for NE FL.
After record highs in Jacksonville and severe storms it's time for a quieter and cooler evening. Seasonal temperatures and sunny skies this weekend.

Friday: We are not done with the storms yet. Another round of rain will move through after the morning rush for SE GA and the begin to build over NE FL during the afternoon and early evening, 80 percent. Strong to isolated severe storms will be possible. Morning lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the 70s and 80s for SE GA, 80s for NE FL. Clearing and mild overnight.
